Dale Jr. Wants More Of What He Saw From NASCAR In Nashville

Dale Earnhardt Jr. wants more of what he saw from the NASCAR Cup Series in Nashville on Sunday evening.

The NASCAR Cup Series arrived in Nashville this weekend, with the Cracker Barrel 400. The race, held at the Nashville Superspeedway, had an electric finish. Denny Hamlin won the checkered flag, while Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Shane van Gisbergen rounded out the top five.

For Dale Jr., who is working as a commentator for Amazon Prime, it was a reminder of races he witnessed growing up as a kid in the 1980s.

He loved it.

Dale Jr. wants to see more races like the one we had on Sunday night.

“Tonight felt exactly like a Bristol night race I would go to in the 80s. Chaos and uncertainty throughout and a thriller of a finish. You can’t ask for more. That simply was a classic,” he wrote on X.
