The Dallas Cowboys are interested in Georgia Bulldogs outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe. Dallas is bringing in Uzo-Diribe in for an interview for a vacant coaching position on their defensive staff.

Uzo-Diribe has been on Georgia‘s defensive staff since 2022. He helped develop Georgia first-round picks Travon Walker, Nolan Smith, Mykel Williams, Jalon Walker and more. He won a national title with Georgia and has helped the Bulldogs win three SEC championships.

If Uzo-Diribe earns a position with Dallas, then he’ll serve under defensive coordinator Christian Parker, who the Cowboys recently hired. Parker was previously the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator. Parker is familiar with several players that Uzo-Diribe coached at Georgia like Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Kelee Ringo and more.

Uzo-Diribe’s interview will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Dallas is interviewing plenty of candidates for its defensive staff. The Cowboys have already brought in Eric Henderson (USC run-game coordinator), Denzel Martin (Steelers outside linebackers coach), Ronell WIlliams (Eagles assistant LB coach), Robert Livingston (Colorado defensive coordinator), Marcus Dixon (Vikings defensive line coach), Zach Orr (Ravens defensive coordinator) and more.

If Uzo-Diribe moves on, then it would be the second major change to Georgia’s coaching staff this offseason. The Dawgs have already changed offensive line coaches.
