Daytona 500 weather forecast update for 2025 NASCAR Cup, Xfinity opener

After some drama in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, it’s time to turn to the rest of Daytona Speedweeks, including Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race.

Sunday’s Daytona 500 has been moved up an hour to 12:30 p.m. CT to try and run the race before evening rain hits the area.

Temperature: 76 degrees

Humidity: 64%

Chance of rain: 0%

Average wind: 12 miles per hour out of the Southeast
