Race results were updated to reflect Erik Jones being disqualified after failing postrace inspection for failing to reach minimum weight requirement. He will be scored 38th.

Denny Hamlin held off Christopher Bell and others to win Sunday’s Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway.

Hamlin led 272 of 400 laps, including the entirety of the final stage. Hamlin’s lead over second-place Christopher Bell was less than a half-second for a handful of laps on the final run before stretching the lead out over the long run.

Joey Logano won the first stage Sunday, while Hamlin claimed Stage 2.
