DeWanna Bonner is coming to the Indiana Fever in hopes of completing a roster that can compete for a WNBA championship.
The 37-year-old is entering her 16th season, with one year off for maternity leave. The Phoenix Mercury made her the fifth overall pick out of Auburn in the 2009 WNBA Draft, and she won Sixth Player of the Year honors as a rookie. She was second in Rookie of the Year voting.

Bonner earned Sixth Player of the Year the next two seasons, and was second in Most Improved Player voting after moving into the Phoenix starting lineup in 2012. Bonner was first-team All-WNBA in 2015.
Bonner has 14.9-point and 6.1-rebound career scoring averages, with six All-Star berths and two championships. Her 7,482 points stand fourth in league history, passing Fever legend Tamika Catchings in 2024. Her 3,067 rebounds are ninth.

DeWanna Bonner is a six-time WNBA All-Star
Bonner earned her first All-Star nod in 2015, her seventh season with the Phoenix Mercury. She also made the All-Star team with Phoenix in 2018 and ’19. In five seasons with the Connecticut Sun, Bonner was an All-Star in 2021, ’23 and ’24.
