Of course, Dallas was forced to play a third straight game without star rookie Paige Bueckers. She has been dealing with a concussion that has caused her to miss time.

For the Wings, DiJonai Carrington led the way in scoring with 16 points in the loss. However, she was also involved in a moment that caused a lot of drama.

During the third quarter, Carrington committed a rough foul. She pulled Los Angeles rookie Ashlee Barker down by her hair. Hater Report on X shared a video of the play.

They also shared what the announcer had to say about the foul.

“If she would’ve had extensions it wouldn’t come off,” the announcer stated.

Fans have not held back on Carrington for the foul. Some even called for the WNBA to punish the Wings’ guard.

“How’s that not an ejection,” one fan wrote.

A second comment read, “she should have received at least a suspension got this. WNBA is physical, yes. But imo this is downright unprofessional.”

“It boggles my mind it was called a common foul. That is far dirtier than anything Draymond Green ever did in my opinion,” another fan chimed in.

It remains to be seen if anything further will come from the WNBA on the situation. Clearly, the fans are not happy with what they saw.

Carrington has played well for Dallas this season. In nine games, she has averaged 13.3 points, four rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
