The Duke Blue Devils made another move Saturday, landing transfer guard Jacob Theodosiou from the transfer portal.

Theodosiou will be entering his senior season after one season with Wyoming and two with Loyola Maryland.

In his last two years with Loyola Maryland, Theodosiou has seen success in increased minutes. In those seasons the 6’4″ Canada native averaged 13.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals in 27.5 minutes per game.

Theodosiou makes for Duke’s third transfer addition this offseason, having also received commitments from John Blackwell (Wisconsin) and Drew Scharnowski (Belmont).

That said, Duke has done plenty of work outside of the transfer portal, adding top recruits, including Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje from FC Barcelona and 5-stars Cameron Williams and Bryson Howard.

As a result, Duke’s returning talent, strong recruits and transfer additions make them a force to be reckoned with once again in the 2026-27 season.
