Duke Blue Devils head coach Jon Scheyer has been extremely successful in his promoted role with the program.
Scheyer took over as the head coach at Duke in 2022 and has since led the program to an Elite Eight run and Final Four run.

The Blue Devils are fresh off a trip to the Final Four, having defeated Mount St. Mary’s, Baylor, Arizona and Alabama in the NCAA Tournament.
They ultimately lost to Houston in the Final Four, forcing Scheyer back to the drawing board.
As the Blue Devils prepare for a major roster change, they bolstered the team via the transfer portal.
On Sunday, Princeton transfer Jack Scott announced his commitment to Duke.

Scott played three seasons with the Princeton Tigers, from 2022 to 2025. Last season at Princeton, Scott posted 1.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.

While he hasn’t had incredible production during his college basketball career, he’s an established player with NCAA Tournament experience.

Scott will look to help boost the lineup as Duke loses a ton of production from the 2024-25 college basketball season.
During a 35-4 season, the Blue Devils’ first 35-win season in a decade and only sixth time in program history, they were led by one of the best freshmen classes college basketball has ever seen.
Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach all made their mark during their freshman seasons with the Blue Devils. Each player, who originally committed to Duke as a five-star recruit, declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.
