LAS VEGAS – Dusko Todorovic may be fighting for his UFC job this Saturday, and ahead of such an important moment in his career, the Serbian fighter made some big changes.

Ahead of UFC on ESPN 68 (ESPN, ESPN+), which goes down at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Todorovic (12-5 MMA, 3-5 UFC) changed teams and head coaches. He felt the change was very much needed as he looks to snap a two-fight losing streak and put behind a 1-3 run in a middleweight bout against Zachary Reese (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC).

“I changed my team, actually. I have a new head coach, and I would say things have gone really good this fight camp,” Todorovic said at Wednesday’s UFC on ESPN 68 media day. “I have a positive feeling bout it, about the outcome and all, and I believe we did a really good job.”

Todorovic is training at Car Dusan Silni in Novi Sad, Serbia, and has been sharing the training room with UFC light heavyweight contender Aleksandar Rakic. Now in a more stable environment for him, Todorovic feels good about his big career choice.

“I sort of lost my former team in the camp for my previous fight, so yeah, that was a bit of a chaotic time for me,” Todorovic explained. “I switched to a new team, a new head coach Nemanja Milosevic, and the team is Car Dusan Silni. In the meantime, I opened my own gym, Thunder Top Team. So things have been sort of moving like in a good way, in a good direction from my last fight. I really feel like we did a very nice job in preparing for this fight. I feel positive going onwards.”

However, although Todorovic has a new coach and team, he assures fans can expect the same fighter in terms of his hunger and determination to look for a finish in a fight.

“I would say new people are the biggest change now,” Todorovic said. “Now I have Aleksandar Rakic as my training partner, I had Nicolai an undefeated prospect at welterweight. I had many, many good guys training with me and I believe that on its own made the biggest difference, but I believe you’re still going to see the same old Dusko who comes to finish fights.”
