Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese was named to her second consecutive WNBA All-Star game this past week as the team’s sole representative.

To celebrate her milestone, the Sky shared a new Instagram post on Sunday featuring Reese alongside three blue stars, symbolizing the team colors. “⭐️ 2x All-Star BARBIE ⭐️,” the post caption reads, referring to Reese’s nickname during her time in college with the LSU Tigers.
“Angel Reese is officially a 2025 WNBA All-Star 🤩.” Meanwhile, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2023 inductee Dwyane Wade reacted to her achievement by sharing “⭐️,” in the comment section.
Wade’s response comes from him being a proud supporter of the WNBA and an investor in the Sky as a Chicago native. Meanwhile, Reese is averaging 12.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.6 blocks per game in 16 appearances.

She also led the Sky to a 92-85 triumph over the Los Angeles Sparks on June 29 by scoring 24 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and dishing out seven assists. Reese will make her second All-Star appearance in Indianapolis on July 19.

This year’s All-Star starters include captains Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever) and Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx) alongside Aliyah Boston (Fever), Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings), Allisha Gary (Atlanta Dream), Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), Breanna Stewart (Liberty), A’ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces), Satou Sabally (Phoenix Mercury) and Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm).
Joining Reese among the All-Star reserves are Alyssa Thomas (Mercury), Skylar Diggins (Storm), Kiki Iriafen (Washington Mystics), Sonia Citron (Mystics), Kayla Thornton (Golden State Valkyries), Gabby Williams (Storm), Rhyne Howard (Dream), Kelsey Mitchell (Fever), Kelsey Plum (Los Angeles Sparks), Courtney Williams (Lynx) and Jackie Young (Aces).
