Eagles to interview Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson for OC job

The Eagles have cast a wide net in their search for an offensive coordinator, and a familiar name is set to meet with Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni. Dianna Russini reports that the Eagles are set to speak with Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson.

Johnson actually interviewed for the job following the 2023 season when Brian Johnson was fired.

Under his direction, Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud put together one of the greatest seasons ever by a first-year signal caller, throwing for 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns against five interceptions in 15 games.

Stroud led the NFL in passing yards per game (273.9).
