Kentucky Basketball has yet to land a transfer portal commitment, but thankfully, there are still plenty of good options available.
On Friday, news broke that UConn center Eric Reibe was entering the portal. The former class of 2025 recruit was someone Kentucky made a hard push for in Mark Pope’s first season in Lexington, but the Huskies won out in the end.

Now, Kentucky is among the schools getting involved with Reibe, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw. BYU and Indiana are also jumping into the mix.
The 7-1, 260-pound native of Germany averaged 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 13.8 minutes per game this season as a true freshman. He was a 4-star prospect ranked 28th overall in the 2025 class by 247 Sports Composite.
Elsewhere, the Wildcats are showing interest in Butler combo guard Finley Bizjack, according to On’3s Pete Nakos. Bizjack is set to visit West Virginia and Ole Miss in the coming days, while Kentucky is working to get a visit as well, but nothing has been scheduled just yet.
This past season, the 6-4, 190-pound native of Texas averaged 17.1 points on 42.6% shooting (34.9% on 3s), 2.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 34 minutes per game. The soon-to-be senior primarily played at the point this season, but occasionally played at shooting guard over his first two seasons.

You have to wonder how set Bizjack is on remaining a point guard at his next school and how open he is to sharing the primary ball-handler duties. Kentucky is making a run at several other point guards, so it’s unclear how Mark Pope would sell Bizjack on coming to Lexington.
