O’Neal has been committed to the Sooners since June. He’s the No. 8 quarterback in the 247Sports composite and the No. 104 player overall. .
ESPN’s Eli Lederman began looking at the 2026 cycle and shared some intel on where the Sooners’ four-star quarterback stands with the Sooners.
Despite the speed bump, O’Neal has been encouraged by his conversations with Arbuckle, the coordinator’s track record for quarterback development and the overall direction coach Brent Venables has presented for the program moving forward. O’Neal once considered Georgia a dream school and the Bulldogs’ Jan. 31 offer could be a head-turner.
