Tennessee football received a transfer commitment on Sunday. Idaho State transfer wide receiver and return specialist Ian Duarte committed to the Vols, according to On3.
The 5-foot-10 redshirt sophomore appeared in 24 games for Idaho State from 2023-25. He totaled 95 receptions for 1,035 yards and six touchdowns.

Duarte also recorded 17 rushing yards on six attempts, while totaling 113 punt return yards and 242 kick return yards for the Bengals.
He is from Santa Clarita, California.
The NCAA transfer portal window was held Jan. 2 through Jan. 16. Student-athletes could only enter the NCAA transfer portal during this period, but can still sign with a school at any point since they are in the transfer portal.
2026 will mark the sixth season for Tennessee under head coach Josh Heupel. The Vols will kick off their 2026 campaign on Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium.
