Now, the Fever will be getting back to regular-season action, with A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces coming to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday evening. And Clark will be sidelined yet again with a groin injury.
Clark suffered her latest injury during a June 24 win over the Seattle Storm, causing her to miss Indiana’s next three games. She has already been ruled out for Thursday’s matchup as well, marking the ninth game the former Iowa point guard will miss in 2025.
Clark did not miss a single game during her rookie season and all four years at Iowa. The Fever have gone 4-4 without Clark this year.

On Wednesday, White addressed Clark’s status during Indiana’s practice availability ahead of the matchup with the Aces. The former Connecticut Sun coach said there’s no added concern about Clark’s injury.

“I don’t know if there’s extra concern as more of like, hey, let’s just maintain perspective,” White said. “She wants to play, and she’s working to play… And I think after, you know, a few days, it’s like, okay, we’ve got a little bit of time. Thinking what, five games before All-Star break, we’ve got a little bit of time. So, let’s just ease her mind, even though she’s antsy, and let’s do this the right way and make sure that we’re ready to go and 100% when she comes back.”
Even though White and the Fever secured the Commissioner’s Cup championship without Clark, they still sit in the middle of the WNBA standings with an 8-8 record. Indiana will host Las Vegas on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
