With just over six minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Wings protecting a narrow 93-91 lead, Bueckers drove into the lane, stopped on a dime, and knocked down a smooth pull-up jumper to keep the Wings in front.
The bucket was one of several clutch plays that helped Dallas pull away late after entering the final period in a tight battle.
The play quickly went viral on social media. Hoop Central shared the highlight and wrote:
“PAIGE BUECKERS IS GOING CRAZY. FILTHY. 🔥🔥🔥”
Earlier in the game, the outlet posted another clip from the third quarter after Bueckers shook her defender before drilling a deep three-pointer.

As Bueckers continued to score from all over the floor, many expanded the conversation beyond Friday night’s performance.
“The WNBA really got a Michael Jordan, a Kobe Bryant, a Steph Curry, a Kyrie, a Dennis Rodman, a Steve Nash all in their league at the same time, it’s so crazy as someone who actually follows the W it’s grown exponentially in such a short period,” one X user wrote.
Others immediately compared Bueckers to fellow WNBA star Caitlin Clark, as aDallas supporter posted:
“Paige is so much better and more entertaining than Caitlin. Like I said all along, people fell for the CC vs Angel rivalry because some clips went viral where Angel played the villain role. But Paige and JuJu will be the stars of the league.”
Another user extended the conversation and added:
