The 2025-26 basketball season will conclude with the NCAA Tournament Final Four, April 4-6, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The first NCAA men’s basketball tournament was won by Oregon in 1939. UCLA (11), Kentucky (8), North Carolina (6), UConn (6), Duke (5), Indiana (5), Kansas (4), Florida (3) and Villanova (3) have won three-plus national championships all time.

Kentucky (8), Florida (3) and Arkansas (1) have won national championships from the SEC.
No. 6 seed Tennessee (25-11) will play in its third straight Elite Eight game on Sunday. The Vols will look to advance to their first NCAA Tournament Final Four appearance in school history.
Tennessee will face No. 1 seed Michigan (34-3) on Sunday in the Elite Eight. Tipoff between the Vols and Wolverines is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. EDT at United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The matchup will be televised by CBS.
