Florida 4-star 2026 safety has set his official visit to Notre Dame

by

The recruiting for the 2026 class is starting to heat up, and Notre Dame football is trying to take full advantage of its momentum from this past season.

The Irish impressively went all the way to the College Football Playoff Championship game, and while they fell short, the impression made on many high school stars has been evident. One of those is Florida Xavier Lherisse, a 5-foot, 10-inch and 185-pound safety.

On Thursday morning, he released four of his spring official visits, with one of those scheduled to be in South Bend. Lherisse, the nation’s No. 389 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, will visit Auburn, Oregon, the Irish and Florida State in that order starting at the end of May.

At this point in his recruitment, I’d have to say that the Ducks are in the lead, as his social media has more about the Big Ten regular season champions than any other team. Hopefully, Lherisse’s visit to Notre Dame moves them up the list and into contention for his signature.
