The Florida women’s basketball program signed two-time All-Big Ten guard Kiyomi McMiller through the transfer portal, coach Tammi Reiss announced on Monday.
The former Penn State Nittany Lion was the conference’s third-highest scorer during her sophomore campaign in 2025-26, averaging 21.6 points per game over 29 appearances on 45.0% shooting from the field and a 35.4% mark from beyond the arc. Her 4.5 assists per game were eighth-best, and 1.8 steals per contest ranked 16th in the league, helping her earn a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team.

“I have waited a long time for this day to come,” said Reiss. “I was Kiyomi’s first P4 offer when I was at Syracuse and she came to our Elite camp in the fifth grade. I knew then that she would be a special talent.”
Reiss continues, “I really want the opportunity to coach Ki and teach her the things that she will need to progress to the next level. Kiyomi is a relentless worker, lives in the gym, loves the game and wants to win. Obviously, she is extremely skilled, and her handle is the best I have ever seen from a female. She is a three-level scorer who can create her shot at any time and can really score.
“Ki is committed to becoming a leader and investing in her teammates. She is hungry to learn, hungry to work and hungry to win. Gainesville, we got a good one. Welcome to The Swamp and our Gators family Kiyomi!”
Before Penn State, the Silver Spring, Maryland, product was named to the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention Team after averaging 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a freshman for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Over the course of her two-year collegiate career, McMiller averaged 20.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steals on 43.6% shooting from the field and 34.3% from 3-point range, along with a 75.0% mark from the free throw line in 50 total games played.
