Florida State football redshirt freshman Charles Lester III was arrested on a DUI charge in Manatee County on Monday.
Lester, a Sarasota native, had his bond set at $500 and he has been released.
No further information is available at this time. The Tallahassee Democrat has reached out to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office for more information.
Lester appeared in four games for the Seminoles in his freshman season and recorded three tackles alongside a pass breakup.
He was a top prospect coming out of Venice High School, ranked as a 4-star and the nation’s third overall defensive back and 39th overall player according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
