As it currently stands, Ohio State is the best team in Big Ten football. Penn State eliminated itself from contention with the loss to UCLA. Oregon has all the talent to be a threat to Ohio State, and the Ducks have a great opportunity to prove themselves against another top-10-ranked Big Ten team, Indiana, on Saturday.
In our Big Ten Football Roundtable, the writers at Trojans Wire and UCLA Wire discuss whether an Ohio State vs Oregon Big Ten Championship Game is a lock. Here are each writer’s thoughts on what the Big Ten title matchup will be.

Yes. Oregon gets Indiana at home and will likely beat the Hoosiers, which will solidify Oregon’s spot in Indianapolis. Ohio State will beat Penn State and take care of its end of the bargain. These are the two best teams in the Big Ten, with (it seems) the two best defenses.
Trojans Wire Writer Micah Huff
Yes, these are the two best teams in the Big Ten. Ohio State has made great teams look inferior, and their young quarterback, Julian Sayin, is getting better and better. Oregon has everything they need to give Ohio State their toughest match yet. Dante Moore is a special quarterback who will continue to rise to being that guy.

If I had to pick, I would say Ohio State-Oregon, but you absolutely cannot count out Indiana. And of course, the Buckeyes still have to play Michigan, and we all know the recent history there.
UCLA Wire Writer Ryan Lorenz
It definitely seems like the most likeliest outcome. The deciding factor would be the Indiana game against Oregon, due to the Hoosiers also potentially having a chance to make a run. Although, it seems likely that Oregon and Ohio State will meet for the Big Ten Title.
UCLA Wire Writer Dylan McNeill
Yes. What an exciting Big Ten title game it will be. Not only would this make for a great game for the Big Ten Conference, depending on how the College Football Playoff seeding shakes out, it wouldn’t be too shocking of a national title game matchup as well. Indiana, Illinois and Michigan are all good teams but they’re not on the level of the Buckeyes or the Ducks.
