Former Iowa women’s basketball guard Addie Deal has chosen her transfer portal landing spot.
After reports broke that Deal would enter the NCAA transfer portal on March 30, many wondered where the former five-star signee would land. On Wednesday, Deal announced her transfer to Iowa rival and fellow Big Ten squad Wisconsin.

Deal, a 6-foot guard out of Mater Dei in California, revealed her commitment to the Badgers in an Instagram post.
The Irvine, Calif., product averaged 5.1 points, 1.6 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game on 39.4% field goal shooting and 29.7% 3-point shooting. Deal appeared poised for a breakout midway through last season, scoring 18 points against Oregon and a career-high 20 points against Ohio State on Jan. 15 and Jan. 25, respectively.
But, Deal never quite matched those performances moving forward as her minutes dwindled down the stretch of her freshman season.
