Former Iowa women’s basketball guard Callie Levin announced her transfer portal destination on Friday afternoon.
After revealing her transfer portal entry on March 30, Levin announced that she is joining Northern Iowa. Levin took to social media to make the announcement.

“I’m staying home… again,” Levin wrote in her announcement. “There’s nothing better than playing in front of my home state fans and I wouldn’t want it any other way!”
Levin was the third Iowa player to enter the portal when she announced. The Hawkeyes have had five players enter the transfer portal thus far this offseason.
The 5-foot-9 guard from Solon High School appeared in 29 career games, scoring 25 points, grabbing 17 rebounds, dishing 15 assists and registering nine steals over her two seasons in the black and gold.
Levin was the 2024 Miss Iowa Basketball after a standout career at Solon, where she scored 1,984 career points, and totaled 535 rebounds, 412 assists and 417 steals during her prep career. In her senior season, Levin averaged 22 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.8 steals and 4.5 assists per game.
