The transfer portal has taken college basketball by storm, showing it’s importance to the roster construction of the top teams in the sport. Another important part of roster construction is the retention of current players, and one major college basketball team had a major player come back to school.
Florida received a huge boost when Thomas Haugh announced his return to Gainesville. Gators coach Todd Golden shared that a former Michigan State star played a big role in that decision.

Haugh had a conversation with Draymond Green, who shared insights into life in the NBA, and that led to Haugh’s decision to continue playing college basketball.
