Jorden Edmonds, a four-star cornerback recruit from Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia, has set a Feb. 19 commitment date, which is his birthday. His top choices are the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Oklahoma Sooners, and Tennessee Volunteers.
Alabama is Georgia’s biggest competitor for Edmonds as they have been making him a top priority within this recruiting cycle. In fact, 247Sports projects that the Sprayberry standout will commit to Alabama.
Edmonds is ranked as the No. 53 player in the country, the No. 5 cornerback and No. 4 recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound cornerback still has Georgia in the mix.
“Georgia is a place I have been a lot. I have visited Georgia at least five times. It is close to home, it is a really good program and they will play young players. Coach Donte Williams and I talk almost every other day and he always wants me up in Athens. The coaches and the players make it fun to be there,” Edmonds said to On3.
If Edmonds decides on Georgia he would be the second cornerback commit beside Jontae Gilbert. Former 2026 commit Dominick Kelly reclassified into the 2025 class. getting depth at a crucial position is very much needed for the Bulldogs moving forward.
