Michigan State basketball got a full team’s effort in a very important win over Purdue on Tuesday night.
The Spartans ended the first half on a high-note to overcome an early deficit and carry a two-point lead into halftime. Michigan State then took over in the second half, and never trailed again en route to a 75-66 win over the Boilermakers.
Michigan State got impressive performances from numerous players, with six different players scoring at least nine points in the win. Jase Richardson led the Spartans in scoring with 12 points and behind him was Frankie Fidler with 11 points.
With the win, Michigan State improves to 21-5 overall and 12-3 in Big Ten play.
Following Tuesday night’s win, Fidler caught up with the media to talk about his huge second half performance to help lead the Spartans past the Boilermakers. Watch that interview in the video below.
