Florida State women’s basketball will face the champs.

FSU announced on Friday evening that it has agreed to a home-and-home series with UConn.

In this coming season, the Seminoles will travel to UConn on Nov. 9. Then, in the 2026-27 season, FSU will host the Huskies at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

This will be the 11th time that both teams have met, dating back to 2002. Their last meeting was in 2022-23, but it will be the first time the Seminoles will be playing at the Gampel Pavilion. FSU is 0-6 against the Huskies.

Other notable non-conference opponents for FSU will be Georgia during the ACC/SEC Challenge at the Civic Center on Dec. 3.

They will also travel to Birmingham, Alabama, on Thursday, Oct. 16, in an exhibition matchup as part of the Ballin in Boutwell at the Boutwell Auditorium. The Seminoles finished last season 24-9 after advancing to the second round of the March Madness tournament.

The official 2025-206 schedule will be announced on a later date.
