FSU’s 2027 recruiting class ranking after Dayon Cooper’s commitment

by

The FSU Seminoles have added a new member to their 2027 recruiting class in three-star athlete Dayon Cooper, who committed on Saturday while visiting.

He is the third commitment that the Seminoles have landed in the secondary, joining four-star safety Mekhi Williams and three-star safety Jemari Foreman. Cooper is the first commitment that new cornerbacks coach Blue Adams has landed since coming to Tallahassee, and he is why Cooper pulled the trigger.

“Coach Blue [Adams] has been good to me ever since I first stepped on campus,” Cooper told Warchant’s Matt LaSerre. “And just since then, he made me feel like it was home. We built a bond and I committed to him.”

The Seminoles now have six total commitments and have a top 20 class in the country according to the 247Sports team rankings. Here is how FSU’s recruiting class compares to the rest of the country.
