Gable Steveson is ready to prove he belongs in the UFC.
After just three professional MMA fights, 2020 Olympic freestyle heavyweight gold medalist Steveson (3-0) has been signed to the UFC. He will make his promotional debut at International Fight Week on July 11 at UFC 329 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but no opponent has been announced.

The 25-year-old reacted to the news during Saturday’s UFC 327 event in Miami, where his signing was announced during the broadcast.
“Man, I feel amazing,” Steveson told the UFC. “This is going to be the biggest debut on earth and I’m ready. The butterflies, the jitters, it’s all part of the game, and I’m ready to take that big step to the UFC and do what I need to do. Man, I think International Fight Week is going to be crazy. You know, maybe a crazy headliner that might come back that you guys might know so, who knows?”
Steveson will first be seen in action against UFC veteran Alexandr Romanov at RAF 09 on May 30 at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. The event will stream on FOX Nation.
