by

Four-star defensive line recruit Santana Harvey has received a scholarship offer from the Georgia Bulldogs. Harvey, a member of the class of 2027, plays high school football for Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida.

Georgia has had some recent success in recruiting from Lakeland. The Bulldogs signed four-star class of 2023 receiver Tyler Williams from Lakeland. Williams has since transferred to Minnesota and is now at his third school in USF.

Harvey stands out a strong run defender and someone that is capable of rushing the passer. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound defensive lineman projects as a defensive end or edge rusher in Georgia’s 3-4 defensive scheme. Harvey has time to add to his frame as he is only a rising junior.

The elite defensive lineman is ranked as the No. 21 player at his position, per 247Sports. He is the No. 192 recruit in the class of 2027 and the No. 18 prospect in Florida.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Georgia!” Harvey said via social media. The four-star has recent scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Auburn and Missouri. He has gone on recent visits to Florida and Clemson and is a coveted prospect.

Georgia football has two commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle right now. The Bulldogs are primarily focused on the class of 2026, but that will change after the early signing period in December.
