The Georgia Bulldogs hosted four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal of Mustang High (Oklahoma) for a visit to their spring practice on Monday and Tuesday.
Georgia’s coaching staff offered a scholarship offer to the four-star quarterback in the end of January.
Despite his commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback is facing significant pressure from Georgia, who is considered the Sooners’ biggest competitor. Florida State, Auburn, and Arizona are also actively pursuing him.
Jaden O’Neal showed marked improvement in accuracy during his time in high school, completing over 71% of his passes for 1,798 yards and 16 touchdowns in eight games. He built upon a strong sophomore season at Newport Harbor, where he recorded 2,475 passing yards and 27 touchdowns with a 61% completion rate.
Georgia is multiple races for a new signal caller for this upcoming recruiting class with Jared Curtis being the most sought out after. Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia is also in the race for Dia Bell, Landon Duckworth, and now Jaden O’Neal.
The Georgia Bulldogs don’t currently have a commitment from a quarterback recruit in the class of 2026, but the Bulldogs are expected to sign at least one class of 2026 quarterback recruit. O’Neal is ranked as the No. 11 quarterback in the 2026 cycle, per 247Sports.
