Today, we continue to profile each player on the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats football roster as we count down the days until the season starts. We are 90 days away from game one, and wearing No. 90 for the Cats will be defensive lineman Mi’Quise Humphrey-Grace.

Coming out of high school, Humphrey-Grace wasn’t rated by 247Sports, but did have several offers based on his talent and raw athletic ability. He committed to South Dakota in the end, as a part of the 2022 class.

He redshirted in 2022, but made an impact in 2023. He played in 12 games, starting in one, recording 7.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks. As a sophomore, he was even better. He started 14 games, and was credited with 17 tackles for a loss and 9.5 sacks on the way to being named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

A transfer to Kentucky followed, and he became a key member of the defense. In 12 games with the Cats, he posted 7.5 tackles for a loss, and 3.5 sacks, both of which led the team. He’s an expected starter on the edge, and will certainly be a key player once again. His numbers could be even better with an improved roster around him. He should be fun to watch.
