Giannis Antetokounmpo explained why he ignores outside opinions about his marriage, saying the qualities he values most have nothing to do with fame or appearance.
“I’ve heard so many things. ‘Why is Giannis with this wife? He could be with a model. Not one model but ten!’” Antetokounmpo said.
The former Milwaukee Bucks superstar said he chose his wife because of her honesty and unwavering support.
“But I am with my wife because she tells me the truth. She loves me, she will tell me whenever I do anything wrong. She will tell my kids the truth,” he said.
Giannis also emphasized the trust he has in her as a mother, believing she will always put their children first and make sure they remain grounded.
“I know that she will kill for my kids and she would even kill me for them. I know that she won’t let my kids get a big head, and that’s the most important thing for me,” he said.
He finished by expressing his love for his wife both as a partner and as the mother of their children.
“I am in love. I am in love with her. As a woman and as a mother.”
