Georgia women’s basketball (21-7, 7-7 SEC) has two games left on its regular season schedule: one on the road against a top five team and one at home.

First on the docket is No. 4 Texas (26-3, 11-3), which will be played at Moody Center on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10 p.m. ET as the tail end of a triple-header on the SEC Network. Texas is second in the SEC, beaten out only by South Carolina which has an 13-1 conference record.

The Lady Bulldogs enter the competition after redeeming two tough home losses with a win at Neville Arena in Auburn. Three women scored in double figures to bring in the massive 22-point victory and keep them teetering on .500 in SEC play, including Dani Carnegie with 17 points and Rylie Theuerkauf and Mia Woolfolk with 16 points each.

Meanwhile, the Lady Longhorns decimated Mississippi State in a 92-42 showdown on Feb. 22.

Georgia and Texas have a short history, with the Lady Bulldogs’ last win in March 2005. The Lady Longhorns took the two most recent wins in 2018 and 2025, both in Athens.
