Coming off a 79-66 loss to No. 10 Louisville on Thursday, January 15, Notre Dame women’s basketball has its toughest test of the season when it faces unanimous No. 1 UConn on Monday. The Huskies are an undefeated 18-0, while the Irish are 12-5, with losses to not just the Cardinals but also No. 7 Michigan, No. 16 Ole Miss, and unranked Georgia Tech and Duke.
UConn, on the other hand, has quality wins over the Wolverines, No. 15 Ohio State, and No. 13 Iowa. Notre Dame has beaten the Huskies three seasons in a row, but this season may be tougher than ever for the Irish to emerge victorious.
