
No. 14 Ohio State women’s basketball (16-2) has one final non-conference game before finishing out the regular season in Big Ten play.
At the Coretta Scott King Classic in Newark, New Jersey, the Buckeyes will square off against the Big 12’s TCU in a top-15 matchup. The Horned Frogs (18-1) are ranked No. 10 in the AP poll, with victories over North Carolina State and West Virginia on their resume.

The matchup interrupts OSU’s already challenging Big Ten schedule. Ohio State just defeated No. 12 Maryland on the road on Jan. 11 and still has five games against ranked opponents ahead, including a rematch with the Terrapins.

“It’s interesting because we’re in this flow of Big Ten games,” Ohio State coach Kevin McGuff said. “I am very familiar with [our Big Ten opponents], with having played them over the years, and now we’re playing this team I don’t know much about. … I look at it as a great opportunity.”
