The PFL is back in Texas this week with a former champion fighting a replacement opponent in the main event.

Broadcast and streaming info

PFL Austin takes place Saturday at the Moody Center in Texas.

The card airs on ESPN2 and streams on ESPN+ at 5 p.m. ET for the prelims and 8 p.m. ET for the four-fight main card.

Opponent: Impa Kasanganay (20-6)
Key wins: Bryan Battle, Fabian Edwards (twice), Impa Kasanganay, Anatoly Tokov, Gegard Mousasi, John Salter
Misc: Eblen was set to rematch Costello Van Steenis for the title he lost to him until the champ pulled out. Now Eblen has a rematch with Kasanganay for an interim belt. Eblen’s win over him in 2024 was a close split decision in the Bellator vs. PFL event. Of note, Kasanganay dropped Eblen and nearly finished him in the second round.

Key wins: Dalton Rosta, Andrew Sanchez, Alex Polizzi, Josh Silveira (twice), Marthin Hamlet, Jared Gooden, Maki Pitolo (twice)
Misc: Kasanganay won PFL’s light heavyweight $1 million season in 2023. His loss to Eblen in their first fight likely is considered one that got away, considering he dropped Eblen and nearly put him away in the second. With five rounds to play with this time instead of three, he may be banking on taking things deep.
