After defeating No. 22 Louisville on Saturday 85-52, the UConn women’s basketball team will face another ranked ACC foe, as they travel to Notre Dame on Thursday to take on the No. 8-ranked Fighting Irish.
UConn’s Sarah Strong led all scorers in the game against Louisville with 21 points. Azzi Fudd scored 18 points and Paige Bueckers hauled in 10 rebounds for the Huskies in the game against Louisville.
The UConn women are ranked second in the country in the latest AP Poll. Notre Dame is coming off a 93-62 win over Syracuse on Sunday.
