The Connecticut Sun (2-15) look to break a nine-game losing streak as they take on the Las Vegas Aces (8-8 as of June 30) July 6.

Connecticut is coming off a tough 102-63 loss to the Minnesota Lynx June 29, their fourth game without star Marina Mabrey, who has been out with a knee injury. As of June 30, Minnesota was atop the WNBA standings, with a record of 14-2.

A bright spot for the Sun in their loss to the Lynx June 29 was the play of rookie Aneesah Morrow. She was the Sun’s leading scorer in that game, with 16 points. UConn alum Olivia Nelson-Ododa pitched in 10 points in that contest.
