The transfer portal has been buzzing with activity, and while it officially closes late Tuesday night, that hasn’t slowed the steady stream of players announcing new destinations.
One player who has yet to reveal his next move is Blake Harper of Howard University. Harper announced in March that he would be entering the portal but has remained quiet about where he’s headed.
Dickinson reacted to the news, showing he’s just as curious and engaged as the fans when it comes to Harper’s next destination.

When Harper’s news hit HBCU Gameday, they called him a “generational talent.” On his post, the three teams that were listed were Creighton, Ohio State and LSU. A return to Howard has not been ruled out by the MEAC Player of the Year.

A native of Washington, D.C, Harper was quoted just before the conference tournament saying, “We’re winning it all. That’s why I came here,” Harper said. “I came here to win it all. That’s what I’m focused on right now.”

In 32 games played at Howard, Harper scored 19.5 points per game. The Bison were eliminated in the first round of the MEAC Tournament by Morgan State, 91-90.
Despite the loss, Harper scored 28 points in 37 minutes. His highest scoring game of the season came on February 1 against Hampton, where he scored 35 points in an overtime game.
It was a long season for Harper and the Bison. They finished with a record of 12-20 on the season. Before his time at Howard, he went to Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C.
