Hunter Dickinson spent five seasons playing college basketball, three with the Michigan Wolverines and two more with the Kansas Jayhawks. Across those years, he appeared in 161 games.

His final season at Kansas ended in disappointment, as Bill Self’s squad suffered a first-round exit in the NCAA Tournament. Now, Dickinson is preparing for the 2025 NBA draft, hoping to keep his basketball career alive.
While training for the next step, Dickinson is still tuned in to the college basketball scene. One program that has made significant noise in the transfer portal this offseason is the Creighton Bluejays.
After the team posted highlights of its new additions on Instagram, Dickinson took notice and had a message for Blake Harper:

It was short but encouraging, directed at one of the top shooting guards in the country.

Harper played one season at Howard University, where he averaged 19.5 points per game. A former unranked recruit out of Gonzaga College High School, Harper made a major impact as a freshman, earning both MEAC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors.
In April, he announced his transfer to play for head coach Greg McDermott and the Creighton Bluejays.

Harper is one of five players transferring into the Creighton program. Joining him are:

Nik Graves: a 6-foot-3 point guard from Charlotte

Josh Dix: a 6-6 shooting guard from Iowa

Austin Swartz: a 6-4 guard from Miami

Owen Freeman: a 6-10 big man, also from Iowa
Creighton finished last season 25-11 overall and went 15-5 in Big East play. After a win over Louisville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the Bluejays fell, 82-70, to Auburn to end their campaign.
