Earlier this season, it was announced that 2K Sports would be developing a college basketball experience for its popular NBA2K franchise. They rolled a big fancy truck out across campuses in the US to get face and body scans of the players. News just dropped that the update will be released in 2 days.
Kentucky basketball finds itself in NBA 2K
Shortly after announcing the “college basketball experience,” 2K studios said there would be small updates before a large drop or even a full game later on. This was met with a tinge of sadness for fans who were hoping for a full-on revival like NCAA Football had just a few years back. That won’t be happening yet, as 16 teams will be added to NBA 2K on Friday, February 20th. These are the teams you will see:
There will be no dynasty mode yet; that comes when they plan on releasing a full game in 2027. This is kind of the launching pad of that, with mostly paid content through the MyTeam feature.
