Lamar Wilkerson brings one thing — perhaps the most important thing — to Indiana basketball. The 6-foot-5 wing is a high-volume shooter and scorer.
The first-team All-Conference USA performer was top 10 in the nation in these areas in the 2024-25 season: 3.41 made 3-pointers per game (tied for fifth), 44.5% 3-point accuracy (seventh), 20.5 points per game (tied for ninth) and 245 3-point attempts (10th). That’s why Duke, Kentucky and Alabama were interested in him.

Wilkerson may have to learn to play a bit more off the ball next season, with Tucker DeVries, Reed Bailey and freshman Trent Sisley joining the Hoosiers.
