Caitlin Clark suffered a left quadriceps strain and will miss a minimum of two weeks according to an announcement from the Indiana Fever on Monday. Further updates will be provided as available regarding Clark’s status following re-evaluation.
Clark had been limited throughout the 2025 WNBA preseason with what she described as tightness in her left quad, though the Fever did not say in their Monday announcement if this was a reaggravation of that prior injury.
According to ESPN’s report, Clark’s reexamination date is set for June 9. With Clark definitely sidelined for at least the next two weeks, that means the Fever superstar is scheduled to miss the next four games at the Washington Mystics, versus the Connecticut Sun, versus Washington and at the Chicago Sky.

The Fever would travel to the Atlanta Dream one day after Clark’s reexamination date on June 10 and then would have dates versus the New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun on June 14 and June 17, respectively.
Clark is currently averaging 19.0 points, 9.3 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game on 40.3% field goal shooting, 31.4% from 3-point range and 75.0% from the free-throw line. The second-year pro opened the season with the third triple-double of her career and has followed with two more double-doubles, including her 18 points and 10 assists against the reigning WNBA champion New York Liberty in Indiana’s most recent contest.
