The Indiana Fever have ridden a rollercoaster in the WNBA standings throughout their first season under Stephanie White’s return.

Indiana currently stands at 8-8 on the season, having recently defeated the Dallas Wings.
While much of the attention has been on the absence of Caitlin Clark, the Fever turned the spotlight to Damiris Dantas.
On Saturday, the Fever posted a photo of Dantas, who’s currently participating in an overseas commitment with the Brazilian National Team.
“DD dominated in today’s FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2025 game,” posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever. “Damiris Dantas led all scorers & the Brazilian National Team to a 71-50 win over Argentina #AmeriCupW.”
Dantas then reacted to the post, sharing her thoughts on the support from the Indiana Fever. The Fever star posted a red heart emoji on the Fever’s post.

In her first matchup for the Brazilian National Team, Damiris Dantas posted 24 points and seven rebounds on three made baskets from beyond the arc.
Dantas led the Brazilian National Team to a 71-50 win over Team Argentina.

Damiris Dantas is currently playing in her second season with the Indiana Fever. After playing under Christie Sides last season, Dantas is now playing with Stephanie White.
During her second season with the Fever, Dantas has posted 5.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
Before playing for the Indiana Fever, Dantas also spent time with the Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream.
