Indiana Fever President Announces Update on Million Project

The Indiana Fever have had tremendous success over the last two seasons. Ever since drafting Caitlin Clark in 2024, the team has become the most popular team in the WNBA and has also made the playoffs in consecutive years.

Indiana even won the Commissioner’s Cup championship in the 2025 season and made it all the way to the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs, losing only to the eventual champions, the Las Vegas Aces, after pushing the series to the full five games.

Sure enough, with how the team is doing, there’s plenty to look forward to in its future.

Off the court, the Fever are also working to keep providing the best place for players to improve their game. That commitment is on full display in the team’s $78 million facility, called the Indiana Fever Sports Performance Center, which is currently being built.

The Fever had the groundbreaking for the new performance center in September 2025. Now, nearly seven months later, the construction has made a lot of progress. The team shared an update about its status on Tuesday, showing a time-lapse video of what has already been built.

Fever president Kelly Krauskopf also highlighted that the building of the performance center is well on schedule.

“Our home is coming to life and we’re so excited,” Krauskopf stated. “When the concrete goes down, you’re laying the foundation for this next generation.”

The performance center is set to open ahead of the 2027 WNBA season, and the Fever are targeting an opening date of “spring of 2027,” per Krauskopf.
