Indiana men’s basketball made a front office move on Monday.

Ryan Carr, an Indiana graduate who doubled as a manager for the men’s basketball program before a lengthy career with the Indiana Pacers, is the program’s new Executive Director of Basketball, per an official release. He most recently worked as the Pacers’ Senior Vice President of Player Personnel after rising through the ranks through two decades after his hiring as a scout in 2003. He worked as Director of Scouting from 2009-18. The Pacers have been one of the most consistently successful organizations in the NBA during his tenure with two consecutive appearances in the Eastern Conference Finals in the past two seasons, including an NBA Finals appearance in the latter.
