Givens averaged 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during his freshman season at LSU. A product of Montverde Academy, Givens shot just 26.9% from the field and 24.6% from 3-point range in his freshman campaign. Givens was a 59.1% free-throw shooter in his first collegiate season.
The Memphis, Tennessee, native played in 32 games and started 12 at LSU. Givens knocked down four 3-pointers and scored a season-high 15 points in his first collegiate action against UL Monroe. The 6-foot-3, 185 pound guard would match that 15-point scoring output against Missouri on Jan. 7.
Givens had two other double-figure scoring games against Stetson on Dec. 17, 2024, when he scored 12 and against national champion Florida on Feb. 22 when he scored 11.
