After recently landing the Horizon League Player of the Year in Alvaro Folgueiras, Iowa basketball’s transfer portal pursuits rage on.
According to Sam Kayser of League Ready, Iowa is among a group of schools that has reached out to former Saint Mary’s guard Jordan Ross.

Iowa joins Washington, Mississippi State, Clemson, Gonzaga, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, St. John’s, Washington State, UNLV and Seton Hall as part of the group that has been in contact with Ross.
Ross averaged 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last season with the Gaels while shooting 38.0% from the field, 29.3% from 3-point range and 68.7% from the free-throw line.
A former four-star signee, Ross was ranked as the nation’s No. 94 player, as the No. 15 point guard and as the No. 5 player from Arizona according to 247Sports in the 2023 class. 247Sports regards Ross as a four-star transfer and as the No. 28 point guard.
