Iowa State women’s basketball stars Audi Crooks and Addy Brown have already shined on the national stage as two of the best young players in the country during their first few seasons with the Cyclones.
Now they are getting a shot to showcase their special skill sets on an international stage.

Crooks and Brown are two of 21 collegiate women’s basketball players invited to the 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team Training Camp from June 16-24 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
The start of training camp will include trials for the final team selection. The Junior National Team Committee is responsible for trials and team selection.
A total of 10 teams from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean will take part in the 2025 AmeriCup from June 28 to July 6 in Santiago, Chile.
Duke coach Kara Lawson will be the head coach. Former Dowling Catholic High School and Iowa Hawkeyes standout Jennie Baranczyk will be an assistant. Baranczyk, now the head coach at Oklahoma, also coached at Drake.

Crooks and Brown have a chance to be a part of what could be an elite team full of illustrious college players. The juniors-to-be have been Iowa State’s biggest stars the last two seasons.

Crooks is coming off a stellar sophomore season that saw her lead the Big 12 Conference in scoring, averaging 23.4 points per game while shooting 60.5% from the field.
Brown is the only player in Iowa State history to finish a season with at least 400 points, 250 rebounds and 150 assists, completing the tall task in both of her first two seasons.
